I'm not sure really when I grew up. What exact moment did I start acting like an adult? Does anyone really know? I wish I did. Because I would take that moment, and hit pause. I would enjoy the childish part as long as I could.
We've had some rough times, my husband and I. And sometimes I find myself hating HIS past. But, there isn't anything I can do about it. So, we've had our ups and downs. We been at the point of separation and divorce. And then Emery came. And no matter what happened between my husband and I, all I had to do was look at my daughter and I knew that I was going to be just fine.
I'm happy to write that my husband and I worked out our differences, and we've decided to stay together and really work on our relationship. We really love each other and above all, we have to remember THAT. No matter how hectic life gets, and no matter how deep in financial crap we get in, we have to realize that we will eventually be ok. And so long as we do this together, we'll come out on top.
So to my husband, I'd just like to say that I love you.
