Yea, About That...

Umm. I haven’t weighed myself in three weeks. So I guess this won’t be a progress (or lack thereof) post. It’s going to be a “yup, still working on it” post. So, I’ll start off with a confession: I went one week of no gym because of Halloween and I felt MISERABLE. I didn't run that week either so I lost some pretty good ground. To be honest it was a VERY lazy week. Food intake was horrible as well. Don’t even get me started on the candy! Anyway, by the time the first full week of November came around I was feeling really disgusted. Really. Disgusted. I know, shame on me.

But as of last week I’m back to it! It was a major pain in the ass to get back to my regular mileage, but I did it! I’m back up to four miles on the regular. Whoop! Whoop! And I’m not going to lie, it felt really good to get my work outs in again. I was riding on this “sore but happy” high for a few days. Which brings me to the fact that I've noticed the gym has become a bit of an addiction for me. It’s a great way for me to get rid of all that extra energy (good or bad), and really focus. I have no idea what I’m going to do when the semester is over and I don’t have access to it until next spring. Yikes!

Now, even though I've gotten better about working out I’m pretty sure that I've either gained weight or I’m still at 164. I can’t seem to push past that number. It’s aggravating and yet comforting to know that I’m not going up. Unless I have, then in that case, fuck. My brother also showed me a couple new moves to target certain areas. I've noticed that my arms are a bit (tiny bit) more toned and my legs are in really good shape, but my mid-section is not shrinking AT ALL. It’s frustrating. But, it is what it is. The only thing I can do is change things up, keep at it, and hope for the best.
