Wow, This Is Boring

Yesterday was a busy one. I was able to get a tiny taste of what my schedule is about to turn into. I had to make my way up to Weatherford College to locate my classrooms, and to get my text books for the semester. I can honestly say that I was a bit nervous, and yet really excited to get this semester under way. I’m pretty sure I’ll be regretting this enthusiasm as soon as I get my first assignments, but hey, it’s good to go into something thinking positively, right?

Once I got back into town, I had to go grocery shopping, and start on my workout. It was a walk day but I was itching for a run so I did that instead. I was able to break in my new running shoes that my dad got me. My “back to school” gift. So that was pretty sweet. They felt amazing, but I’ll need some higher socks to keep my heel from blistering, if you care to know? We had to head back into town for my school supplies, and then it was back home to sleep. We were all in bed by 10:30 pm.

Throw in working, homework, online classes, and you pretty much have my schedule for the next 4 months. Give or take a few all nighters. I’ll have to remind myself to buy 5 Hour shots in bulk next time I hit the store. Having to be up so early and then in bed kind of late, had me really hating my alarm this morning. But, I need to get used to it. As of next Monday, it’s on.

We didn’t do much of anything this past weekend. A lot of cleaning, and just hanging around the house. On Friday I had lunch with two friends I hadn't seen in FOREVER. It was so nice getting to catch up with them. This next weekend, we have my cousin’s graduation party! I can’t believe she’s already 18, and going off to college! Boy, time flies. Before I know it, that will be Emery. :'-(

Anyway, I'm sorry this wasn't a very good post, filled with pretty pictures and a lot of info. Things have gotten a tad bit hectic around the house. I told you I was hoping to share that news with y'all next week, but it looks like it'll have to wait till this Friday. :) The rest of this weeks is going to be a bit crazy with last minute things I need to tend to, so bare with me.
