Please Be Exhaustion...
Friday, October 12, 2012
The boss man has another business closer to town that he’s always going back and forth from. A few weeks ago I was asked to go sit in for his normal secretary because she had the flu. She was out for a whole week. Then at the end of last week , the boss man caught it. He’s been out for over a week. We sprayed everything with sanitizer, and went about our day.
This past Sunday, I felt sick to my stomach. On Monday, I started getting headaches. I passed them off as caffeine withdrawals. On Wednesday, I ran two miles and then threw up. I don’t throw up when working out. Ever. Then yesterday, I woke up with body aches and everything was really sore. And then this morning I woke up with all of those things combined. Nausea, body aches, headaches, scratchy throat, and freezing.

I’m actually hoping that this is just exhaustion. Or maybe it’s my body adjusting to this shift in weather? I’m pretty sure that the vomiting was just due to me eating something heavy on the day that I went for a run. Or at least I’m hoping that’s what it was. I also hope that the body aches are from working out. Nothing more. I can’t afford to get sick. I have way too much to do.
So, for now, I’m trying to take it easy. I feel so sluggish and achy today. I was suppose to run yesterday and work out, but I didn't. I'll make up for that this afternoon. Hopefully. I don't mind getting a tiny cold, because those are usually gone within a day or two. But the flue kills me. Every damn time. I want to try to stay on top of my usual work out plan to see if I can fight whatever this is, off by staying active. Or at the least keep it at bay for awhile longer. I foresee a lot of soup this weekend! Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!
